Sculptor

A Sculptor uses their hands or tools to create three dimensional art pieces. You might specialise in a particular medium such as clay, stone, metal or even recycled materials. Your artwork may be intricate and detailed or it may be large in scale. Sculptors often display their work for potential buyers in an exhibition or gallery or they may be commissioned to prepare a piece for a particular buyer or for a public space.

Being a Sculptor requires strong creative skills and a good imagination. You’ll need to be talented in your field and be flexible with customer needs. You may be collaborating with other artists or with buyers so you’ll need good personal skills and should be an excellent communicator.
