Rehabilitation Nurse

A Rehabilitation Nurse provides care to patients who are recovering from an accident, injury or illness. You might work in a hospital, a specialist healthcare facility or you may provide care to patients in their own home. Rehabilitation Nurses follow a care plan to help patients regain their independence. You’ll work closely with other health care professionals such as physiotherapists or occupational therapists.

Rehabilitation Nurses should have good personal skills and be able to listen to their patients’ concerns. You’ll need to be a good communicator and be able to liaise with patients, carers and other health care staff. Rehabilitation Nurses should be able to follow instructions and work to correct procedures.
