Private Investigator

A Private Investigator conducts investigations on behalf of their clients. You might investigate other people or organisations and gather supporting evidence that may be used in court proceedings. Private Investigators may spend time locating individuals and following them to profile their movements. You may also interview other people or conduct surveillance operations.

Private Investigators should have strong observational skills and excellent attention to detail. You’ll need to have strong analytical skills and be able to work to correct procedures. Private Investigators must be flexible in their work role and be able to communicate well with clients. You may work irregular hours in this position.
