Music Tutor

A Music Tutor teaches singing or instrumental music to students in a range of settings. You might work with students who are just beginning to learn or you might help more experienced students to refine their skills. Music Tutors might teach people in individual sessions or take a small group of students at once. You may have to assess students’ abilities or get them ready for an upcoming performance.

Music Tutors need to be passionate about music and be willing to share their talents with others. You should be able to work with a range of different learners and be skilled in a range of musical genres. Music Tutors need to be patient and should be able to provide positive feedback and constructive criticism.
