Junior Animator

A Junior Animator assists with the creation of animated stories or messages. You might prepare storyboards or illustrated plans for an animation and help create scenes and frames. Junior Animators may use 2D or 3D techniques to develop their animations and you might prepare digital images, hand drawings or 3D models. You might also be able to contribute ideas or suggestions during the design stage.

Junior Animators work under the supervision of other people in a production team so it’s important that you can follow directions. You’ll need a strong imagination and need to have an artistic flair. Junior Animators should be able to use a range of animation software and equipment and will need to get their work done to meet a deadline.
