Home Care Assistance Workers provide personal care services to elderly, disabled, and vulnerable people in their own homes. The focus of your job role is enabling your clients to live independently while enjoying a good quality of life.

As a Home Care Assistance Worker you could be doing anything from cooking, cleaning and paying bills — to taking your clients to visit relatives and doing the grocery shopping. Developing a close relationship with your clients (as well as their families) is key to your role.
