Greenkeeper

A Greenkeeper cares for a range of sporting fields, most commonly golf courses. You’ll maintain greens, fairways and other areas of the course to ensure it is of a high quality and suitable for play. Greenkeepers may complete a range of work duties including mowing, irrigating, aerating and weeding. You may also repair damage to courses or fix any other issues such as pest or disease infestations.

Greenkeepers should be passionate about their work and enjoy working outdoors. Depending on the workplace, you may work on your own or as part of a team. It’s important that you are physically fit and capable of the manual labour tasks required. You may have to work on weekends in a range of weather conditions.
