A Glazier prepares and installs glass in a range of settings. You might measure and cut glass and fit pieces as required. Once installed, you may have to finish glass pieces and smooth exposed edges. Glaziers may replace broken glass or work on new building projects. You might specialise in commercial work or focus on residential jobs.

Glaziers should have strong technical skills and need to be safety focused. You should be a good communicator and be able to work as part of a team. Glaziers must be able to work in a range of circumstances and might have to attend after hours repair work when required.
