Firmware Engineer

A Firmware Engineer develops and maintains software that controls hardware devices, such as embedded systems and microcontrollers. You might work on a variety of products, from consumer electronics to industrial machinery. Firmware Engineers focus on writing, testing, and debugging code to ensure the hardware operates correctly and efficiently. You’ll collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with the physical components and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Firmware Engineers play a critical role in the functionality of electronic devices. You’ll need to be detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled in programming languages relevant to firmware development. You’ll liaise with other engineers and project managers to ensure that the firmware meets technical requirements and performs reliably.
