Civil Celebrant

A Civil Celebrant conducts personalised ceremonies for significant life events, such as weddings, funerals, and naming ceremonies. You might work independently or as part of a celebrant service. Civil Celebrants create and perform ceremonies that reflect the values, beliefs, and preferences of the individuals involved. You’ll prepare scripts, coordinate with clients, and ensure each ceremony is unique and meaningful.

Civil Celebrants play an important role in commemorating life’s milestones. You’ll need to be empathetic and creative, with strong communication and organisational skills. You’ll liaise with families and individuals to ensure their ceremonies are conducted with dignity and respect, providing support and guidance throughout the planning process.
