Aviation Medic

An Aviation Medic travels by air to provide emergency medical treatment. You might respond to medical issues in remote areas, emergency situations in isolated regions or to scheduled air ambulance transfers to medical facilities. Aviation Medics may travel by small plane or helicopter to reach patients. You might stabilise patients until they can access specialist medical services or perform critical treatment such as CPR.

Aviation Medics should be flexible and able to respond to a wide range of situations. It’s important that you can remain calm in challenging conditions and handle stress well. Aviation Medics should have strong personal skills and be able to communicate well with people from a range of backgrounds.
