An Apprentice Carpenter builds and installs products using timber and timber products. You might construct new products or renovate or repair existing pieces. Apprentice Carpenters might work on large scale projects or smaller residential jobs. You’ll work under the guidance of a qualified carpenter while completing an apprenticeship.

Apprentice Carpenters should be able to work as part of a larger team and follow instructions closely. It’s important that you follow correct procedures and work safely on a building site. Apprentice Carpenters should have strong attention to detail and must be able to work from drawings or plans.
