Aged Care Nurse

An Aged Care Nurse provides specialised care to elderly patients in a hospital, healthcare environment or an aged care facility. You’ll monitor health conditions and follow a treatment plan. Aged Care Nurses may tend to wounds, administer medication or provide other treatments as required. You might also provide assistance with dressing, showering or feeding.

Aged Care Nurses should have excellent personal skills and be able to communicate well with patients. You should have good attention to detail and be able to prioritise your tasks. Aged Care Nurses should be able to work well in a team and liaise with other health care professionals.
