This nationally recognised qualification is the legal minimum requirement you need as a childcare educator. You will learn how to care for children and nurture their development from qualified early childhood educators with current skills, knowledge and strong links to industry.

This qualification is ideal for early childhood educators who are responsible for designing and implementing curriculum in early childhood education and care services. In doing so they work to implement an approved learning framework within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. They may have responsibility for supervision of volunteers or other staff.

? Under the National Quality Framework, persons in day-to-day charge and nominated supervisors are to have child protection training in order to be in charge of a service. Participants who successfully complete our Child Protection short course will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for this unit. The training will include an overview of the Child Story website and the MRG, requirements for mandatory reporters in NSW, identifying significant harm and risk factors and the provision of child safe environments.
