This Excavator Course will provide you with detailed training on how to plan and prepare a job for excavation activities, conduct pre and post operational checks, operate an excavator using the various techniques, transfer materials efficiently ensuring the load capacity is within the limitations of the machine, fit the appropriate attachments for the job being carried out, relocate the excavator to a designated location and finally maintain a clean work environment.

Our Confined Spaces Course is designed for workers operating in various industries who work in enclosed or partially enclosed space, that is not intended for people to occupy. Participants will learn how to plan, prepare, work and exita confined space as well as basic emergency response procedures and information of maintenance and stowage of all equipment.

Our Front End Loader Course will teach you how to plan and prepare a job for front-end loader operations, conduct all relevant operational checks, operate a front-end loader in compliance with health and safety legislation, attach various types of equipment, transport materials efficiently onto trucks, relocate the loader from site to site and finally ensure a clear, hazard free work environment is maintained.

Our Articulated Haul Truck or Moxy Course will teach students how to plan a job for haul truck operations, operate a haul truck over different terrain, conduct routine operational checks, load, transport and dump materials at a designated area, maintain a clear work environment and finally carry out all documentation relevant to haul truck operations.

Our Backhoe/Loader Operations Course is designed for workers in various industries operating in site based roles. Participants will learn how to plan, prepare and operate a backhoe/loader in accordance with not only the Nationally Accredited unit of competency, but also current site requirements.

Our Dozer Course is designed to provide students with the skills and expertise to safely conduct dozer operations across many different working environments within Australia.The course will ensure students have the relevant skills and knowledge in how to plan a job and prepare the site for dozer operations, conduct routine operational checks, operate a dozer in various work conditions, choose the correct attachment for the task in hand, relocate the dozer between worksites and finally maintain a clear work area.

Our Grader Course will teach students how to plan a job and prepare the site for grader operations, conduct routine checks such as pre-start and shut down checks, operate a grader in compliance with site procedures, fit and remove grader attachments, relocate a grader between sites and lastly maintain a clean work area.

Our Scraper Course will give you the skills to plan and prepare a job for scraper activities, carry out routine operational checks, safely operate a scraper across many different terrains, work alongside other operators during coupling, relocate the scraper between worksites and finally maintain a clear and hazard free work area.

Our Skid Steer Course will provide students with detailed training on how to plan and prepare a job for skid steer operations, carry out routine operational checks, operate a skid steer in compliance with company procedures, transfer materials safely and efficiently to a designated area, choose and fit appropriate attachments for the task in hand, relocate the skid steer between worksites, conduct maintenance checks and finally maintain a clear work environment.

Our Roller Course will give you the necessary skills to plan and prepare a job for roller activities, conduct operational checks, drive and manoeuvre a roller in various work environments, carry out maintenance checks, relocate the roller to a designated area and finally maintain a clean work area.

At Shamrock, we have created a detailed training plan that will teach you how to plan and prepare a job for telehandler operations, carry out all routine operational checks, select and fit various attachments, operate a telehandler in line with equipment capabilities, relocate the machine to a designated area and finally maintain a clean work environment.

Our Water Cart Course will give students the ability to plan and prepare a job for water cart operations, conduct operational checks, transport and haul water safely and efficiently and finally maintain a clear hazard free work area. We will also ensure in depth health and safety training required to safely undertake water cart activities across many construction sites within Australia.

In order to operate or act as standby to a mobile boom type elevated work platform (EWP) with a boom length over 11m you must complete the EWP (boom length 11m or more) course. This course is designed to give you formal training on how to inspect, maintain, prepare for operations, operate, direct / spot and then shut down and store the EWP (boom length 11m or more). It is suitable for new and existing workers and offers extensive training from start to finish.

In order to work alongside Cranes and sling loads you will need proper training as a Dogger.

The Dogger Course is designed to give you formal training on how to estimate load weights, select lifting gear, inspect lifting gear, sling loads and direct crane operators to move and place various loads. It is suitable for new and existing workers and offers extensive training from start to finish.

Our Working at Heights Course is designed for workers operating in various industries who work at heights and / or depths. Participants will learn how to prepare for a working at heights task, select, inspect & use various fall arrest and fall restraint systems, basic emergency response procedures and information of maintenance and stowage of all equipment.
