Learn moreFor students wanting to turn their passion into a career, there is the option to undertake our our unique nationally accredited and innovative part time Advanced Diploma of Photography (10281NAT) course. This qualification is designed to produce professional photographer graduates ready for a career in the photography industry, with access to PSC’s forty plus years of networks and experience.
Studying in our part-time Advanced Diploma in Photography comprises of two semesters per year for four years. However, the flexibility is also available for students to work at a lesser load and extend this course over a longer duration should that suit their circumstances better. As per the Certificate courses, you can choose between evening or day sessions, usually scheduled over one or two 3-hour classes per week.
Learn moreThe Undergraduate Certificate of Digital Imaging provides pathways into further study - advanced standing into the Bachelor of Photography or employment. Once you have completed the course, you are eligible for direct entry and 30 credit points of the 180 credit points required for the Bachelor of Photography degree.
Alternatively, it will prepare you for support roles in photography and the creative industries, such as digital retouching, cataloguing digital content, being a visual editing assistant or working as a photography assistant. In the course, you will undertake 4 subjects, providing 30 credit points of the 180 credit points for the Bachelor of Photography qualification. Additionally, it will prepare you for photography and digital imaging support roles, such as cataloguing digital content, digital retouching, or a visual editing assistant. This course provides a skills pathway to the Bachelor of Photography degree.
