Pathways' courses center around a deep understanding and respect for each individual’s learning experience, and the importance of training professionals to be able to work with many established mainstream counselling modalities as well as holistic psychotherapies such as art therapy, role play, trauma therapy, mindfulness awareness.

Counselling is a rapidly growing industry, the demand for qualified skilled counselling psychotherapists is rising. Our courses remain up-to-date with latest developments in psychological theory as well emerging fields of science including Quantum physics, self-organising systems and chaos theory. Many findings from diverse explorations all contribute to a new map of psychology by which to understand ourselves, our clients and our organisations.
The Diploma of Counselling (Processwork) (CHC51015) is a comprehensive and engaging course taught as a combination of live and interactive online tutorials, virtual study groups, and home readings/ assessments. Students all around Australia can study to become a qualified counsellor with us without ever leaving their home.
This one-year course incorporates practical skills-based training practice; the theoretical foundations of Processwork Psychotherapy, contextualised Processwork Counselling Methods; the latest neurobiological developments (theory and skills) for working with trauma/stress effectively; as well as all the requirements of a government accredited Diploma of Counselling (CHC51015).
Our Diploma of Counselling may be taken by either professionals already working in the industry (counselling, mental health and coaching field) who’d like to develop and deepen their skills, as well as new students wanting to develop counselling skills towards commencing work in the counselling and psychotherapeutic field.
Learn moreWe are very proud to be offering our ASQA and PACFA accredited Graduate Diploma of Trauma-Informed Processwork Psychotherapy. Our Diploma and Graduate Diploma trainings are the only government accredited Processwork trainings available in Australia.
The Graduate Diploma of Trauma-Informed Processwork Psychotherapy is taught as a combination of day and evening classes, study groups, and home study readings/ assessments, which can be accessed at-a-distance or in person, as three intensive 3.5 day residential trainings which must be attended in person each year (6 in total). These residentials focus on supervision and coaching feedback for each student on their skills development, and application of the theory.
