Learn moreThe S2/S3 course is an excellent starting point for individuals looking to launch a career in pharmacy, providing essential skills in supporting the supply of pharmacy medicines and assisting with pharmacist-only medications. As part of the QCPP requirements, all staff who supply Pharmacy Medicines or assist pharmacists in supplying Pharmacist Only Medicines must complete training through a recognized and accredited course. The unit in this course, SIRCIND002 Support the supply of Pharmacy Medicines and Pharmacist Only Medicines fulfills this requirement.
Delivery
This course is completed entirely online. The program contains learning and assessment including simulated performance activities. Students are provided with 60 days access to the portal to complete the required training and assessment. Course extensions are available at $50 per four week period. Typical timeframe for course completion is 15-20 hours. There is no requirement for work experience for this course.

Training for this course is completed by:
- Reviewing and engaging in our Learner Guide that contains detailed readings and videos.
- Completing the learning log. This log supports you confirm you have developed the knowledge and skills before undertaking assessment.
Assessment
Assessment for this course is completed by:
- The completion of written short answer questions and checklists
- The completion of your learning log
- Completing our simulated performance activities in the portal

All course resources are provided in our Axcelerate portal. Our course is 100% paperless providing you with 24/7 access to course content. Students undertaking this course will be able to use a computer and various internet programs without assistance.
