About ATAR Training
RTO code: 45112
The two guiding principles that we work to when training Workplace Health and Safety are:
- Organisations must clearly understand their corporate obligations to comply with Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations. This involves implementing effective measures to protect against all types of workplace health and safety risks that are relevant to their operations.
- To be effective, students should leave the course with a clear path to creating a comprehensive Health and Safety plan for their workplace. They must clearly understand the legislation and how to work with their management and workforce to write, implement, and evolve that plan.
Before founding ATAR Training, our trainers worked for many years in industry as supervisors and managers. They all witnessed workplace accidents and other safety breaches and saw first-hand the devastating effect they can have on the individual, their families, work colleagues, and the business.
They recognised the missed opportunities of the generic WHS training delivered by most RTOs and realised that the best WHS training must be related to the industry in which the students work.
