Wilderness First Aid
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This nationally recognised short course is designed for adventure guides, outdoor educators and instructors, outdoor recreation leaders and remote area workers. In this course, you will learn how to coordinate an emergency response and to provide First Aid to casualties in a remote area over an extended period until medical assistance is provided or evacuation occurs.
A range of scenarios and practical assessments are included in this course, through a combination of online and practical learning. There is also three days of onsite training in a bush setting.
