Undertake Vertical Rescue
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This Course is for people working in vertical environments that may be required to undertake vertical rescue operations as members of a rescue team. The programme is designed to compliment your basic safety and heights training and will cover safe work practices and rescue procedures completed in accordance with workplace and legislative requirements.
The course encompasses a range of vertical rescue situations, assessing rescue scenes and establishing vertical rescue systems. This training has a strong emphasis on the use of equipment and hands-on scenarios. Participants are required to participate in the rescue and evacuation exercises and must be physically fit to do so.
