Traffic Management with a Stop / Slow Bat

This training course was developed by Active T.E.C. underpinned by elements and criteria provided by the National Unit of Competence to ensure the participant obtains the skill sets required to carry out the function of a Stop Slow Bat Operator.

Practical and theoretical exercises and assessments are utilised to provide activities and experience, to enhance employment opportunities.

This unit is an essential requirement for people who wish to carry out Stop / Slow bat works in the State of Victoria.

Upon successful completion of the course the participant shall be issued with a "Statement of Attainment" and competency card.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.

Construction Induction Card (OHS/WHS ) "also known as White Card" to be obtained prior to work in the construction industry

Basic Reading and Writing skills are required ( English ).
