Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Students must provide evidence of the following before enrolment in the course:
- Completion of RIISS00058 Traffic Controller Skill Set for Urban Streets & Low Volume Rural Roads
- At least 40 hours of experience working in a temporary traffic management workplace in a traffic controller role
- Completion of RIISS00060 Traffic Management implementer Skill Set for Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural Roads
- At least one (1) month experience applying skills and knowledge relevant to the RIISS00060 skill set in a TTM workplace
- Provide evidence of relevant experience setting up at least twelve (12) TTM types, including high-speed roads or high-volume roads
Students must be able to speak, read, and understand basic English to communicate to a level that allows them to perform their duties safely.
Students must wear personal protective equipment while attending the course, including a long-sleeved, high-visibility shirt, steel-capped boots, and long trousers.
Students must have a unique student identifier (USI) to obtain their nationally accredited statement of attainment.
