About Workzone Training
Workzone Training is dedicated to making the traffic control industry safer and more efficient by improving skills and knowledge. Founded in 2004 by Andrew White, who has a strong background in automation, business management, and quality control, the company aims to revolutionise traffic control. Seeing the need for better practices, Andrew joined the Austroads task force and worked with other industry leaders. This effort led the task force to the creation of the “Austroads Innovative Temporary Traffic Management Device and Solution Assessment (AITDSA) Scheme”, which aims to standardise practices across the country and create a more consistent and regulated industry.
From this national effort, Workzone Training was born. We focus on high-quality training delivered by expert instructors. By standardising temporary traffic management (TTM) practices, improving technical guidance, creating a consistent training environment for TTM workers, setting up a registration system for TTM service providers, and encouraging the use of new and innovative solutions, Workzone Training is a leader in industry change.
Our training programs, mainly offered in South Australia and the Northern Territory, are designed to give individuals the skills and knowledge needed for safe and efficient traffic management. Whether it's obtaining necessary certifications or advancing current skills, Workzone Training provides courses that meet industry standards and regulations. Through our various programs, individuals gain valuable workplace experience, helping them contribute to the safety and improvement of the industry. Since our strategic plan was published, Workzone Training has made significant progress, demonstrating our commitment to excellence and innovation.
