Traffic Control Course
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This Traffic Controller Course is NOT SUITABLE for individuals working for or intending to work for Traffic Control companies. Completing a traffic control course is essential for anyone who needs to be able to use a stop/slow bat or place/remove traffic control devices (such as bollards and signs) in addition to their primary work role. for anyone who wants to work with companies in the following sectors; road and utility maintenance companies, construction in the private and public sectors, water boards and councils. WAM Training traffic control training covers the requirements to use a stop/slow bat or place/remove traffic control devices in a work environment under a Traffic Management Plan. WAM Training’s traffic controller course provides participants with a valid Statement of Attainment in Traffic Control that complies with VicRoads guidelines.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
If you want to work in the construction industry, you must also have a current Construction Induction card. Also known as a ‘White Card’, this incorporates completing the following Nationally Accredited Unit of Competency CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
