Tower Crane Training
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course is designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge required to operate a tower crane safely and effectively, fulfilling the requirements for licensing. Tower cranes come in various configurations, including luffing boom or hammerhead type jib, as well as boom/jib cranes mounted on a tower structure, which can be demountable or permanent. The course encompasses both hammerhead and luffing jib types, ensuring comprehensive coverage of crane operations.
Participants will learn the fundamental principles of tower crane operation, including but not limited to, safety procedures, equipment familiarisation, operating techniques, load management, communication skills, emergency procedures, maintenance and inspection, and regulatory compliance.
By the end of the course, participants will have demonstrated competency in operating a tower crane safely and efficiently.
