TfNSW Safety Critical Communications

This course is designed to develop and further increase participant’s communication and negotiation skills across the rail industry and improve safety critical communications behaviours.

This course will revise, refresh and reset your existing skills in communication and practice applying effective safety critical communications behaviours to the rail industry.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.
  • Have completed the TLIF0020 Safely access the rail corridor (TfNSW SX52 accessing the rail corridor formally RISI) course and provide the Statement of Attainment of successful completion of the course
  • Be engaged by Sydney Trains, TfNSW or NSW TrainLink as an employee or contractor
