Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This Course covers the performance of testing of connections to low voltage (LV) electricity networks according to AS 4741-2010 Testing of connections to electricity networks. It specifies the mandatory requirements for testing when connecting and/or reconnecting a customer/s installation to an electricity supply network.
It encompasses the minimum principles and tests required to confirm that the LV supply connections are correct. The application of the skills and knowledge described in this unit requires a licence/registration to practice in the workplace subject to regulations for undertaking of electrical work.
