Test & Tag Cord Connected Appliances
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course has been designed to provide our clients with the national unit of competency to carry out the testing of cord or cord connected appliances and meet the requirement of the AS/NZS Standard 3760 (testing to be conducted by a Competent Person).
Only a competent person may legally test and tag cord or cord connected appliances and this is provided they possess the appropriate equipment that has the capability to do so.
In this course you shall utilise equipment such as Portable Appliance Testers (P.A.T) , RCD test units, Isolation transformer units, Polarity / RCD Test units, sinometers and more.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Students must present photo identification and provide proof they hold the prerequisite OHS/WHS unit ( UEECD0007 ) .
Current First Aid certificate - HLTAID011.
