Store and Handle Dangerous Goods / Hazardous Substances
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course provides basic level training in the Identification, Handling Transport and Storage of Hazardous Substances and Dangerous Goods utilised in the workplace.
In particular the focus shall be aimed at understanding and categorising substances, selecting the appropriate equipment or mode for transport / Storage, and understanding the Hazards and Risks associated with each substance.
Employers who utilise and store Dangerous Goods & Hazardous substances, must provide training and education to assure all persons exposed to these substances and goods do not place themselves or others in danger.
