Steam Turbine Licence (TO)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Licence to Operate a Steam Turbine is a comprehensive course suitable for personnel who work, or have an interest in engineering, manufacturing, power supply and Heritage operations (trains, mills, machinery), and require a High Risk Work Licence to carry out specific turbine operations work.
The course covers competencies required to understand the operational capabilities of turbines, work safely with and identify fuels/hazards, identify faults and problems and more.
This training may include some pre-course reading and activities, blended learning options and practical training in a simulated environment. Successful applicants will be eligible to apply for the issue of a National Licence through the local regulator or Worksafe authority.
