Standard 11 Generic Coal Induction (GI) - Surface
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Standard 11 is a mandated skill set of 6 nationally accredited units of competencies required for an individual to work on a coal mine in Queensland.
This 2-day program is designed for students who are new to resources industry. There are no course entry requirements, no pre-course study and no-post course logbooks to complete. Students who successfully complete the 2-day program will be issued a Statement of Attainment at the end of the course.
The course provides students with entry-level skills and knowledge to work safely in surface coal mining operations. Our custom-designed course includes a combination of theory questions (multiple choice and short answer) as well as various real-life & simulated practical activities throughout the program that reflect current industry trends.
