Spotting training course
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)A spotter is a safety observer responsible for ensuring the safety of workers operating in the vicinity of underground and overhead electric lines. Our spotting course will prepare you to perform your job as a spotter and ensure safe working conditions in various field settings. A combination of theoretical and practical sessions will equip you with the qualifications you need.
Our qualified instructors will prepare you with the skills needed to be an efficient spotter. A spotter is essential in ensuring safety in the workplace. With the proper training, you can perform your task as a spotter with confidence and ease. ACE Training will train you as a spotter following WorkSafe Victoria guidelines.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Applicants must be aged 18+ at the time of course commencement.
Applicants must have photo identification
Applicants must have a current Level 2 First Aid Certificate, or a current First Aid Certificate that complies with the First Aid in the Workplace code of practice – edition 1 September 2008 and is inclusive of a module on Electricity.
Applicants must hold a current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate.
Applicants must have a USI Number (Unique Student Identifier).
Applicants must have safety footwear & a hi-vis shirt/vest.
