Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.

Hold a current unrestricted electrical license or applicants currently undertaking UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or its successor will need to have the following Units of Competency already achieved:

  • UEECD0016 Document and apply measures to control WHS risks associated with electrotechnology work

And

  • UEECD0043 Solve problems in direct current circuits

Or

  • UEECD0044 Solve problems in multiple path circuits
  • UEECD0046 Solve problems in single path circuits

And

  • UEECD0025 Lay wiring/cabling and terminate accessories for extra-low voltage (ELV) circuits

Or

  • UEEEL0023 Terminate cables, cords and accessories for low voltage circuits
  • UEEEL0012 Install low voltage wiring, appliances, switchgear and associated accessories

About Electrical Trades College

Established in 2018, Electrical Trades College (ETC) is a leading Registered Training Organisation (RTO) based in Revesby, NSW, proudly serving the entire state of New South Wales. Built on a foundation of expertise, professionalism, and a deep passion for the electrotechnology and complementary industries, ETC has earned its reputation as a trusted name in training and education.

In 2023, ETC achieved a significant milestone by securing a NSW Smart & Skilled Contract, enabling the delivery of apprenticeship training. Additionally, ETC introduced specialised programs for overseas-qualified electricians seeking an Australian qualification.
