Shift Materials Safely Using Manual Handling Methods
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course provides the learner the skills and knowledge required to shift loads safely using manual handling methods, encourages delegates to consider alternatives to manual handling through planning and to train delegates ability to perform Manual Handling tasks in a safe manner in the HV and wind turbine industry/environments. Work must be carried out in compliance with the relevant work health and safety (WHS)/occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations concerning the manual handling and movement of loads. Work is performed under some supervision generally within a team environment.
