Safely work in Confined Spaces
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)In this Confined Space course, you will learn the skills to enter confined spaces, for maintenance, servicing of vessels or other necessary reasons. You will also learn skills to understand permits and their limitations for confined spaces as well as the observer role for permits requiring a safety observer.
Working in a confined space is governed by AS 2865:2009 Safe Working in a Confined Space to ensure the safety and health of any person required to enter a confined space for work or inspection.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.

- Hold CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
- Photo proof of ID (drivers licence/Passport);
- Have basic numeracy skills;
- Demonstrate ability to speak and write English to a basic level.
