Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)SHBBHRS010 Provide Waxing Services delivers the skills and knowledge required to provide waxing services to remove unwanted facial and body hair. This unit will teach you application and removal methods, wax selection and the keys to achieving a high standard of results.
What you will learn:
- Client consultation
- Contra-indications to waxing
- Hair growth cycle
- Hot and strip waxing
- Roll-on waxing
- Tweezing
- Aftercare advice, treatment and recommendations
- Health, hygiene and safety for therapist and client
- Sustainability in waxing services
On successful completion you will receive a Statement of Attainment for SHBBHRS010 Provide waxing services in partial completion of a SHB30121 Certificate III in Beauty Services.
