Provide First Aid
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Join our immersive 1-day, in-person first aid training and learn how to respond effectively during an emergency event. Gain expertise on how to administer first aid and basic life support and how to manage casualties and incidents, along with life-saving CPR techniques. You’ll collaborate with your fellow first aiders in fun and practical role-plays while also learning how to recognise signs and symptoms of common illnesses and injuries.
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.
The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
