Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)HLTAID013 Provide First Aid in a Remote or Isolated Site teaches students a wide range of necessary first aid skills. You’ll learn everything from basic first aid to support people in a wide range of situations, to more complex skills such as providing CPR, basic emergency life support, and safely administering medication.
By successfully completing this training course you will be in an excellent position to live, work, and travel in Australia’s remote regions without needing to worry about the distance between yourself and emergency response services when something goes wrong. If you or someone you know are injured and help isn’t nearby, you’ll know everything you need to know in order to help keep everyone calm and safe until help arrives.
