About Australian Nursing & Midwifery Federation (SA Branch)

ANMF (SA Branch) is a powerful professional and industrial organisation representing nurses, midwives and personal care assistants across South Australia.

We are committed to be ‘With you at work and in practice’ and that ANMF (SA Branch) is always by our members’ side, no matter the circumstances members and the nursing and midwifery professions face.

We have been the leading voice for nurses, midwives and personal care assistants for over a century, working together to negotiate positive outcomes for our members at local, state and federal levels. We also promote and encourage community engagement on the many issues that affect our professions.

Our commitment to the health care sector also extends to professional development, providing face-to-face and online courses to thousands of our members annually.

We also own and operate the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Education Centre (ANMEC), which educates hundreds of students in Certificate and Diploma qualifications in nursing every year.
