Provide First Aid

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.

The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

About Alana Kaye College

We were also awarded the Northern Territory Chief Minister’s Award and was a national finalist for the Emerging Exporter of the Year in 2019. This was based on our strong growth and ability to attract international students to the Northern Territory of Australia. Our reputation as a quality educational facility was a contributing factor in this award. Alana Kaye College has been a finalist in the Northern Territory Training Awards in 2013, 2015 and 2018.

The College was also identified as the Centre of Excellence in the Northern Territory in providing training and assessment skills and/or qualifications by the Northern Territory Government.
