Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course is a unit of competency, providing the skills and knowledge required to perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council.
This course combines theoretical and practical components and is suitable for anyone in the general public and workers or professionals in healthcare, fitness, education, trade, and many more industries. The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that a CPR refresher course should be undertaken every 12 months, separately or as part of a First Aid refresher course.
While we encourage all adults to complete a first aid course, CPR as a part of basic life support, may lead to saving someone’s life. CPR training allows you to manually preserve brain function until specialised treatment becomes available.
