Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is a lifesaving exercise. Being trained in the basics may help someone live to tell the story.
An employer should check all first aid qualifications and make it part of their business to ensure relevant persons are trained to meet the relevant first aid requirements.
Keep abreast of changes in First aid by keeping your first aid training current. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation has a 12-month duration as described by Safe Work Australia that has made recommendations to ensure the currency of skills of those providing CPR. These recommendations are for refresher training in CPR every 12 months and first aid currency every 3 years.
