Provide Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This unit provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies and to perform CPR in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines. CPR is a lifesaving technique and can sustain life until an ambulance arrives.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Students must have the physical ability to provide resuscitation by kneeling on the floor and performing at least two minutes of uninterrupted CPR on an adult and infant manikin.
The minimum entry age for students undertaking this unit is 14 years of age. Students under the age of 18 years will be required to provide a signed parental consent (located on the enrolment form) prior to attending the course.
