Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)An information packed program using realistic injuries to prepare the participant with the confidence for a real first aid emergency.
This Unit of Competence introduces participants to the skills and background knowledge to recognise and respond to life threatening emergencies using basic life support techniques until a more qualified first aider or medically trained person is available. This course conforms to the recommendations of the Australian Resuscitation Council, including the knowledge and skills to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
