Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)You will receive hands on practice with a CPR mannekin, both adults and baby as well as actually using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), simulate bandaging eye injuries, broken bones and wound care. There will be some roleplay with scene and injury assessments.
This allows your workplace to meet its legal requirements regarding the provision of first aid in the workplace.
It will provide you with an understanding of how to provide an emergency response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
