Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This nationally recognised course describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. It applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings. NOTE: the Safe Work Australia First Aid Model Code of Practice requires employers to ensure that their nominated first aiders attend training on a regular basis to remain current. The Code of Practice recommends that refresher training in CPR should be undertaken annually from the date of issue to maintain currency. and the certification should be renewed every three years from the date of issue to maintain currency.
Successful attainment of this course will result in the issue of a Statement of Attainment for the HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support.
