Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)All persons on a construction site must complete WHS induction training before they are present on a construction site. In the ACT this course must be done face to face and not online. The purpose of this requirement is to provide persons working in the construction industry with a basic knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety legislative requirements, the principles of risk management and the prevention of injury and illness in the construction industry.
