Prepare a Work Zone Traffic Management Plan
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This short course provides the skills and knowledge required for individuals responsible for developing traffic management plans and traffic guidance schemes to perform a preliminary risk assessment of a temporary traffic management site and select, modify and design traffic management plans and traffic guidance schemes.
This course applies to those individuals responsible for developing traffic management plans and traffic guidance schemes.
This course does not qualify a participant to control traffic with a stop-slow bat or boom gate‚ or set up work with traffic control plans.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Be 18 years of age or over
Have language, literacy and numeracy skills to ACSF level 2 or above
Provide 100 points Evidence of Identity (EOI) - you are required to bring original ID documents on the training day
If you are keen to work as a Traffic Controller in NSW it is also highly recommended that you have a White Card and hold a provisional or open drivers licence as you will be required to travel to work sites and may be required to drive work vehicles.
