The course will be delivered by an experienced industry professional, bringing a depth of knowledge and experience to the learner.

This course covers the performance of cable pit/trench/excavation rescue procedures as they apply to live low voltage (LV) cable jointing in the workplace. It specifies the mandatory requirements of rescue from a cable pit/trench/excavation and how they apply in the context of transmission, distribution or rail work functions. It encompasses responsibilities for health, safety and risk management processes at all operative levels and adherence to safety practices as part of the normal way of doing work.
